Session Details:

Mambo Fortunado ("bird's mambo") is the same tune as the "Mambo" portion of the "AFro-Cuban Jazz Suite" that was performed in the studio with Machito on December 21, 1950. There's skepticism about group personnel and location (compare Sutherland with Losin), but as Losin states, "in the absence of an alternative", we are keeping the details as stated. -JS
