Session Details:

The John Coltrane Reference book specifies on which track Coltrane plays the tenor and on which he plays the soprano, whereas Lord only notes that Coltrane plays both instruments but does not provide any specificity.

The book source notes that the information was retrieved from a live recording by Norman Granz. Two concerts were performed on this date, one at 7:00pm, and the second at 9:15pm. For our purposes, we have combined both of the concert performances under this one session date. Note: the start of the second concert occurs when "Bye Bye Blackbird" is played for the second time (Track #8).
