Session Details:

The recordings box set notes do not list the laternate takes that are included in the REference Book. A few notes from the Coltrane reference book:

'Ole'-- The shorter lengths of takes 3 & 4 suggest that the 1st take is the master.

'Aisha' -- although it is the 8th take that they list as the master, they double back and discuss that tracks 6 and 7, the only other complete takes. It's a little confusing the way they put it, suggesting take 7 is the master, when they list a subsequent track as a master.

'To Her Ladyship' -- It was originally listed as an untitled ballad and not identified until later on -JS

Personnel: apparently the box set notes say that Tyner only plays on 'Ole' but the reference book contradicts that. -JS
