Session Details:

The John Coltrane Reference book lists Coltrane on only tenor saxophone for both tracks. Lord, however, lists Coltrane as playing both tenor and soprano in this session, but does not specify which is played on which track. We have opted to reflect the information found in the book source.

The book source also notes that the first 4:16 of the performance of "Tunji" from this session was used in the 1990 movie "Mo' Better Blues," directed by Spike Lee.
