Session Details:

The John Coltrane Reference book notes on which tracks Coltrane plays the tenor and on which he plays the soprano. Lord simply notes that Coltrane played both during this session, but does not provide any specificity. Coltrane plays soprano only on "Chim Chim Cheree," and tenor on the other two titles in this session.

The John Coltrane Reference book provides an extensive record of all takes -- false starts, breakdowns, and fragments for each title. Lord only provides the main master takes for this session. In the interest of inclusivity, we have used the John Coltrane Reference book to represent this session.

The track playtimes are unknown for the most of the breakdown tracks of "Nature Boy."
