Hazavoet notes that although the tracks herein are sometimes listed as belonging to the opening night of Jazzart April 9, 1967, the announcements of the aircheck contradicts that assertion. Lordisco combines this session with May 9, 1967 (tracks: billie's bounce & I'll remember april) and list it as all occurring on April 8th, 1968. Although Hazavoet acknowledges that there is doubt in the location and times for both sessions, his information has tended to be more accurate than Lord's with regard to Byas so we will go with him. One major clue is that both Lord and Hazavoet attribute the track "You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To" as appearing on the LP "Rarities" 55, even though Lord lists the session where that track was recorded as occurring on the 1968 date, as opposed to Hazevoet who says it was between '66-'67 and appears to get that information based on the fact of spoken announcements during the broadcast. -JS

When looking at Lord as cited above (W2833), there is a difference in personnel variances compared to Hazevoet. --ac.
