Session Details:

In the session entry, Lord repeats a spelling error found elsewhere by spelling "Jazzbühne" as "Jazz Bohne". -JS

Also, on a more major note, we had a slightly difficult time finding corroboration for this session to match Lord's info, because a nearly identical session was found and issued with the same title Lord gives, except the date was May 9, 1981. Lord does not have a May 9, 1981 session of any kind for Dizzy, and this mystery persisted until we found an amateur blog entry that used the European style of writing a date (MM/DD/YYYY) rather than the American (DD/MM/YYYY). Naturally, in the European style, May 9, 1981 would be written 9/5/1981, so it appears that Lord saw this date and assumed it was September 5, not May 9. Therefore, we are going with the May 9 date, and assuming as well that this is an error on Lord's part, and that there are not in fact two different session, May 9 and Sept 5. -JS

A final mystery remains, however: Lord lists the first track as "Hot House" while the CD cover lists the first track as "Blue 'n' Boogie". We are looking at an online photograph of the back cover and are not in possession of the actual CD, so an aural test cannot be performed. -JS
