Dizzy performed three nights at the Blue Note: January 23, 24 & 25. Lord has split up the sessions according to which issues they appeared on, but that is not necessarily the most helpful manner. However, without further corroboration, we will have to use that information, even though there is obviously an overlap. -JS

 

Wikipedia and Allmusic say the tune "The Theme" is a composition by Gillespie. However, upon listening to the audio sample on Allmusic's page, it is clearly the same melody and rhythm as Miles Davis' composition of the same title. -JS
