Session Details:

Bruyninckx separates this session into the duo between Michelot and Diz, and the quartet/Jam session. That is a bit confusing, and not in line with how Jdisc considers a session. However, the Diz and Joe Carroll--from the same location and date--is a separate session since all the musicians but Diz are different. -JS

Also, Jazzdisco.org lists this as occurring on February 22, 1953, while Bruyninckx doesn't include an exact date, just the month. This seems improbable, as it would mean Dizzy played with at least 3 ensembles, in 2 locations over 25 tracks all in a single day. Not that that is impossible, but since Bruyninckx implies doubt about that, we are following him. -JS
