Session Details:

This occurred on the same date and place as a session with the Parker/Diz quintet and with just Dizzy's orchestra. They are included here as three separate sessions because the key personnel change--Parker, Ella and then just Dizzy--in a live performance should certainly be listed separate, despite the idential place and date.-JS

Also: it's difficult to find track lengths for Flying Home & Lady Be Good. For some reason they are not included in the issue that was entered on Allmusic. Also, Bruyninckx lists "How High..." and "I Waited..." separately, but they are included as one track in terms of time, implying that (without listening to it) the theme of "I Waited for You" is played as the ending of "How High the Moon". -JS

Also, Bruyninckx says an unknown pianist accompanies Ella Fitzgerald on these songs. not sure if they mean in addition to John Lewis, or in place of. -JS
