Session Details:

Baker's discography lists a separate session a single track ("Tea for Two") which he played with the Brubeck quartet during the same day of the Newport Jazz Festival. This brings up an interesting point about what constitutes a session. Most likely, Baker got up with his group and played four tunes, and then he was asked to join Brubeck for a single track. Are those two independent sessions? Or is the entire day of the festival considered one session? The website for Newport has a personnel list for each year of the festival, but that is not much help since there is no indication what order things went in, and there are even some differences between what the baker disco says and what the newport website says about personnel (Jack Lawlor on bass versus Bob Carter)
