Session Details:

this session begin before midnight on September 17, and continued until the early morning of the 18th. Also, two songs "The Opener" & "The Closer" were attributed to "N. Shrdlu". In the descriptions of the songs there is a link describing how the word "shrdlu" is an oldfashioned nonsense word, and inferring that perhaps it was a humorous nod towards the host of the concert, Norman Granz, but in fact was composed by Parker. -JS

Norman Granz' announcement on track 5 is the introduction of Ella Fitzgerald. -JS
