With the exception of the first track (where Ulanov's announcement is listed as lasting 0:35), there are announcements by Ulanov following every track, leading into the next one. Over the first and last tracks, Bruce Elliot does a voice over. -JS
Between jazzdisco.org, Sutherland and Burton, there are some discrepancies regarding who plays on what, in terms of personnel variance. Burton doesn't list any, and since Sutherland is generally more accurate than Jazzdisco.org, we are using his. However, that fact should be noted and backed up in the future. Sutherland, however, skips a 'track 4' in his listing. This is probably just a typographical error. No evidence suggets there is actually a missing track 4. Therefore, when Sutherland lists that Fats Navarro plays on all tracks "except 3, 5 &6", for example, we take it to mean that he is omitted from Tea for Two, not Fats Flat, since the notes list the latter as Navarro's feature. -JS
This is more of a mess than at first appearance: Allen Eager is listed as playing on track "9 only", but in the notes Groovin' High (track 8 in Sutherland's discography, but technically track 7 because of the omission of 4) is listed as his feature track. Again, probably just a mistake, as it wouldn't make sense otherwise. However, I'm going to assume it is still ONLY Groovin' High on which Eager plays, since neither jazzdisco.or nor burton list him AT ALL. However, according to discogs.com, Eager also plays on Koko and Anthropology. -JS
Fats Flat(s)/Hot House: We list this as a medley. No source lists it as "Fats Flat (aka Hot House)" which is usually indicative of a contrafactual tune, so it stands to reason that this is Fats Navarro playing some of his own tune "Fats Flat" with a little of "Hot House", too.
Jazzdisco, for example, simply doesn't list "Everything I Have Is Yours", "Tea for Two" or "Don't Blame Me". -JS
