New York, New York Session Details:
This was a jam session in the basement of the William Henry apartments on 136th and Broadway. They are all incomplete, edited to just Parker's solos, mostly. Sutherland lists this as one of the four June dates whose specificity is unknown (see the other Charlie Parker session from William Henry Apts- June 4, 11, 18, 25, 1950), but Losin has a letter from John Williams that confirms the May 28th date. -JS
- Also, where the soloists are listed as both trumpet players: that doesn't necessarily mean they both soloed. Discographies just say "trumpet solo", so with two players, we list both for sake of completion. -JS
