Session Details:

Rare session of Parker on sound film. Both Losin and Sutherland note that in this session Parker and Gillespie receive their "Down Beat" Readers' Poll awards, Parker for best alto saxophone player of the year and Gillespie for one of the best trumpet players of all time. Sutherland's source says that "Jack Lesberg" is on bass, as oppose to "Sandy Block" (which is what Losin's source says).
