Session Details:

There is some question about the personnel for this session. Varela is pretty clear on the tracks that Holiday sings, and matches the hardcover Benny Goodman discography, but Lord's personnel is difficult to understand due to his unique notation. We have done our best to be as accurate as possible. For example, it should be read that EITHER Irving Goodman OR Cy Baker plays on these tracks, not both.

Also, Lord says that the track "Lillie's Stomp" is just the Goodman quartet, but the personnel he lists as being there, does not mesh with what all the other sources on this session list. Again, we have tried to represent the fact that it was a smaller group while still maintaining personnel accuracy.
