First Name:
Stanley
Last Name:
Webb

There's a Stan Webb, Jr. that played with Dizzy Gillespie. Although Diz and Bird obviously shared sidemen before, the Webb that played with Dizzy was born in 1936 and was too young to have played with Bird in 1952--he would have still been in high school, and based on Dizzy's Webb's obit, he was not pro until the late 50s. So this Stan Webb entry is a mysterious earlier Stan Webb, not the same as Dizzy's guy. -JS
